THE WORLD IS BUSY

Life is a short dream yet everybody is busy. If they’re aren’t staying in a busy condition, they think that their life has no meaning, that they’re wasting a precious piece of second, that the society no longer needs them, or that no one loves or wants them.

So, as soon as these ill-busy creatures wake up, they have a series of tasks to perform: drink their black coffee, watch news on the television, read newspaper, tell their family members not to wait for him/her because he/she will come home late, drive their way to their destination, thinking hard, looking at their watch, making text and call on their mobile phones and ensuring that everyone can see what an important person he/she is, very useful to the world.

Then he/she arrives at work and sit down to deal with the clients, the paper works and the assigned duty.
If he/she is an employee, he/she does his/her best to make sure that his/her boss has seen that he/she is a very effective agent. If he/she is a boss, he/she sets everyone t work immediately. If there are no important tasks to be done, he/she will come up with a new plan, create them, and develop new strategies of actions, gives advices or criticisms to his/her people just so they can feel they are better than they really are .

When lunch break comes in, he/she will still ruminate about his/her job; formulate an evidenced-based step to browbeat his/her competitors.

Then, he/she works all day long. From dawn to dusk; from time to time, he/she looks at his/her watch. It’s nearly time to go, but he/she has to sort out a detail here, sign documents there and study the matters everywhere.
Finally, he/she goes home. He/she has bath, puts on more comfortable clothes, watch television, analyze and rationalize the flow of his/her career, suppress the idea of his/her wretched personal life, think again of some things that would make them preoccupied of and sleep.

And then another morning will come and go. He/she is ready again to seize the moment and maximize all the possible opportunities. Working non-stop and digging fast-paced.

That’s it; tomorrow will be as the same as any other yesterday: ROUTINE. I wonder if these people would be capable of taking at least 11 minutes of his/her day to stop and look at the world, and at his/her self, and simply do nothing.
Oh God! If these people had a choice and had understood earlier that the reason their days were all the same was because they wanted them to be like that.
Perhaps they’ll think that sometimes, there are no other complimentary alternatives and options, because there is no choice. But that’s a lie, we always have a choice.
Everyone has time to do that. It’s just that they don’t have the courage. Work is a blessing when it helps us to think about what we’re doing; but it becomes a curse when its sole use is to stop us thinking about the meaning of our life.
Courage? How can a person who sacrifices himself/herself for his career not have the courage to stop for 11 minutes a day?
The answer? I don’t know.

Well, it’s just that I figured out that there is something really more to life, but waiting for the world to change will suck out the sanity out of you.
In order to survive in this hostile world of existence, we have to let ourselves swept by the speeding cars, the busy metro, the ticking clocks, the screaming waves, the warped working hours, the running timetables, and the bombarding radio commentators and so on.

It’s best to go back to sleep. It was just a dream; these questions will get me nowhere; and tomorrow’s going to be a very, very busy day.
Maybe, it is best to see the world as it is, not as I imagine it should be.
